Patient Comfort & Safety
At Dr. Lisa Lindstrom Dentistry on the Avenue your comfort and safety are very important to us. While visiting our office your comfort will be enhanced by flat screen TV’s in all the treatment room to entertain you or you can listen to music if you prefer. Enjoy complimentary coffee in our waiting room. Most important all doctors and staff will ensure that you feel relaxed and at ease at all times.
Dental anxiety should not keep you from visiting your dentist at any time. To help reduce your anxiety during dental procedures we can offer nitrous oxide or oral sedation.
Nitrous oxide or laughing gas will calm your nerves and make the procedure more comfortable. Oral sedation involves taking an oral sedative to control anxiety. A sedated patient is unlikely to remember the procedure and will be more relaxed. You will be constantly monitored during the procedure ensuring your safety.
Dr. Lindstrom and staff take special care in providing you an environment that is safe, comfortable and sanitary. The latest sterilization management systems, equipment, and techniques (including proper infection control and universal precautions) are used to ensure the safety and comfort of our patients.
Our sterilization technique consists of using an autoclave which is a device that kills bacteria and viruses by steam, heat and pressure. Every instrument is sterilized for your safety and protection.
All surfaces in each treatment room are sterilized before you enter the room
All water lines are treated and cleaned on a daily basis.
The entire staff participates in full barrier protection techniques.
Safety glasses are provided to protect your eyes during treatment.
Prior to any treatment, we will discuss any medical conditions you may have to ensure your safety.
